What personal data may we process?<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe scope of data depends on which part of the portal or service you use.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Identification and contact details<\/h3>\n<p>This may include in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>first and last name,<\/li>\n<li>business name,<\/li>\n<li>email and phone,<\/li>\n<li>mailing or billing address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Company and billing information<\/h3>\n<p>This may include in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Company ID, VAT ID and VAT ID, if applicable,<\/li>\n<li>billing information,<\/li>\n<li>invoice, payment and payment status data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Account and membership details<\/h3>\n<p>This may include in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>user account identification,<\/li>\n<li>account email,<\/li>\n<li>access level L1, L2 or L3,<\/li>\n<li>monthly or annual paid access option,<\/li>\n<li>start and end of the period and expiration date,<\/li>\n<li>records needed for secure access management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"pepax-privacy__note\">\n<p><strong>We do not store passwords in readable form.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Communication data<\/h3>\n<p>This may include in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>content of messages and forms,<\/li>\n<li>email communication,<\/li>\n<li>data necessary to process a request, complaint or withdrawal from a contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Technical and safety data<\/h3>\n<p>\nDepending on the function used, this may include, for example, IP address, browser and device type, connection data, security and server logs, cookies and other technical identifiers.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nTo protect selected forms from automated abuse, we use <strong>Cloudflare Turnstile<\/strong>. For security verification, Cloudflare may process in particular the IP address, browser and connection data, technical security signals, User-Agent, TLS fingerprint, Sitekey and the associated request origin. Turnstile is used to distinguish a regular visitor from automated traffic and to protect forms from bots. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access message content, form data or other page content when providing this security feature.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Analytical data<\/h3>\n<p>\nIf you consent to statistics, we use <strong>Google Analytics 4<\/strong> to measure website traffic and usage. Depending on the specific visit, this may include:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>online and cookie identifiers used to distinguish visits and sessions,<\/li>\n<li>information about viewed pages and events on the website,<\/li>\n<li>time and technical data about the visit,<\/li>\n<li>browser and device type data,<\/li>\n<li>approximate geographical data derived from the technical connection data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nAccording to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not record or store individual IP addresses for visits from users in the European Union, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Cloudflare also states that it acts as a separate controller when processing signals to improve Turnstile&#039;s ability to detect bots.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWhen providing Google Analytics 4, Google processes analytics data in accordance with the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the applicable data processing terms.\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"pepax-privacy__note\">\n<p><strong>We do not sell personal data to third parties.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"pepax-privacy__section\">\n<h2>8. Transfers of personal data outside the EEA<\/h2>\n<p>\nSome technology service providers operate globally. Google applies legal mechanisms for international transfers that comply with applicable legal requirements.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to Google, when users from the European Union visit, Google Analytics only uses the IP address to derive approximate geographic data and then discards it before storing the analytics data.\n<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"pepax-privacy__section\">\n<h2>9. Automated decision-making<\/h2>\n<p>\nWe do not carry out automated individual decision-making or profiling that would produce legal effects on you or similarly significantly affect you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nTechnical adjustment or termination of the Library&#039;s access level based on payment status and expiration date constitutes implementation of the agreed access conditions, not marketing profiling.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWe use Google Analytics 4 for statistical measurement of website traffic and usage, not for automated individual decision-making towards visitors.
