These General Terms and Conditions explain the rules for providing professional services, individual processing of products and paid access to the Pepax Library. They regulate the method of contract formation, payments, L2/L3 access, renewal, withdrawal from the contract, complaints and other rights and obligations of the client and Pepax.
These General Terms and Conditions govern the relations between the company Pepax, sro. and clients in providing professional services, individual product processing, and paid access to the Pepax professional Library.

2. Who the terms and conditions apply to
These conditions apply to:
- consumer — a natural person who is not acting in the course of a business, profession or employment,
- entrepreneur or other organization — a person who places an order in connection with his business or professional activity.
The provisions of these terms and conditions marked as consumer apply only if the client is acting as a consumer. The statutory rights of the consumer cannot be limited by these terms and conditions.
3. What Pepax provides
3.1 Professional services
Pepax provides professional consulting, analytical, educational, development, coaching, mentoring, facilitation and related services according to the current service catalog and individually agreed scope.
A specific order is governed in particular by:
- agreed objectives,
- scope of work,
- expected output,
- the price or the method of determining it,
- a deadline or schedule,
- these GTC.
If an individual offer or contract conflicts with these GTC, the individually agreed wording takes precedence, unless the mandatory rights of the consumer are affected.
3.2 Individual product processing
Selected Library products can be individually processed for a specific company, organization or client situation. The product hub may contain an indicative price range; the binding scope and price are only created in a specific offer or order.
3.3 Professional Library
The library uses the following client levels:
- L0 — public content,
- L1 — Registration — free registered access,
- L2 — Individual — paid access,
- L3 — For — premium paid access.
L2 and L3 are cumulative accesses according to the current Price List. The monthly and annual variants do not change the content level; they only determine the length of the paid period and the price.
4. Free introductory interview
A free introductory conversation can last up to 30 minutes. It serves as a basic orientation to the client's situation and to assess the appropriate next step.
The free initial interview does not result in a professional analysis, diagnostic conclusion, written recommendation, strategy proposal, process map, or other professional output. Professional work beyond this framework is paid.
5. How an individual service contract is created
5.1 Non-binding contact
Submitting a contact form, requesting a consultation, or having an initial conversation does not in itself create an obligation to order or pay for a service.
5.2 Offer and acceptance
After specifying the assignment, Pepax may send the client an offer, order summary or draft contract on a durable medium. The contract is formed upon acceptance of this offer by the client in the manner specified in the offer, or in another demonstrable manner agreed upon by the parties.
If a consumer concludes a paid contract directly through the online interface and submits the form, the consumer is obligated to pay, the final ordering function must clearly express the obligation to pay.
6. How paid L2/L3 access is created
6.1 Selecting the level and periodicity
The user selects L2 or L3 and a monthly or annual option in the Account. The Payment Details form serves as request for paid access and issuance of payment documents, not as an automatic debit from the card.
Pepax will then verify the billing data and send an invoice or other payment instruction.
6.2 Conclusion of the contract and activation
A contract for a specific paid period is established upon full payment of the price, unless Pepax has rejected the request or notified the client of another condition prior to payment.
Paid access is activated after confirmation of full payment. Partial payment does not activate paid access.
A consumer who wishes to start using the paid access before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired shall request this by means of a separate express statement in the online interface or on a durable medium. If such a statement is not provided, Pepax will activate the consumer's paid access only after the statutory period has expired or after another legally permissible moment.
6.3 Price
The current public price framework is listed on the page Price list. The following applies for paid access to the Library:
- L2 — Individual: €20 per month / €220 per year,
- L3 — For: €50 per month / €550 per year.
The annual option offers 12 months of access for the price of 11 months.
Pepax is not a VAT payer; the prices listed are final unless the specific offer states otherwise.
7. L2/L3 renewal and end of paid period
7.1 Refresh window
Approximately 14 days before the end of the currently paid period, Pepax may send a renewal invoice or a request for payment for the next period.
Renewal invoice or payment request itself does not extend paid access. The new period will only be activated after full payment.
7.2 Non-renewal
The User may notify through the Account or by contacting Pepax that they do not wish to renew the next paid period. Such notification does not affect already paid access, which remains active until the expiration date.
If the user does not make the renewal payment, after the end of the paid period, the paid access will not be extended and the account will continue at level L1 — Registration.
The grace period is 0 days.
7.3 Without automatic creation of new debt
Failure to pay the renewal invoice or payment request does not in itself create an obligation for the user to pay for an additional period, unless the additional period has been specifically ordered. In such a case, Pepax will not extend the paid access after expiration.
8. Payment terms
Payment for services and paid access is made mainly by bank transfer based on the invoice or payment details sent by Pepax.
The price is considered paid after the full amount has been credited and identified to the correct invoice or order.
If the payment is partial, Pepax may request the client to make a final payment. The performance, which is subject to full payment according to the agreement, will only begin or be activated after full payment.
9. Delivery and provision of digital fulfillment
Paid access to the Library is an ongoing digital service. It is considered made available when the user can use the content of their level after logging in.
Pepax may continuously develop, supplement and appropriately change the Library, while preserving the essential nature of the paid level and the user's legal rights.
The library is a growing scholarly resource. The number of published topics and outputs may vary and is not guaranteed as a fixed catalog unless a specific offering explicitly states otherwise.
10. The consumer's right to withdraw from the contract
10.1 Basic period
In the case of a distance contract, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, usually within 14 days from the conclusion of the contract, unless the law provides for an exception.
Detailed instructions and a sample form are on the website Withdrawal from the contract.
10.2 Starting the service before the deadline expires
If the consumer explicitly requests that Pepax begin providing the service or ongoing digital performance before the expiration of the withdrawal period, and subsequently withdraws within the statutory period, he may be obliged to pay a proportional part of the price for the performance actually provided up to the moment of withdrawal, if the statutory conditions are met.
In the case of separate digital content delivered other than on a tangible medium, the loss of the right of withdrawal may only be exercised under the conditions laid down by law, in particular after the separate express consent and proper instruction of the consumer. Pepax does not use a general formulation by which the consumer would waive all rights of withdrawal in advance.
10.3 Online withdrawal function
If the consumer contract was concluded at a distance via an online interface, the consumer may also use an easily and continuously accessible function during the statutory period. „"Withdraw from the contract"“ on the Pepax website. This does not affect the possibility of withdrawing by e-mail or in any other legally permissible manner.
11. Confirmation of the contract on a durable medium
In the case of a contract concluded at a distance, Pepax will provide the consumer with confirmation of the concluded contract on a durable medium to the extent required by law. In the case of L2/L3, the confirmation shall contain in particular:
- the selected level,
- periodicity,
- price,
- the beginning and end of the paid period,
- information about the conditions of renewal,
- a link or attachment with the valid version of the GTC,
- instructions on withdrawal,
- information about any express consent to the commencement of performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
12. Account User Responsibilities
The user is obliged to:
- provide true and current data,
- protect your login details,
- not to provide your personal member account to other persons,
- immediately report any suspected account misuse,
- use the content in accordance with these GTC and legal regulations.
13. Copyright and Content License
Content Libraries, working materials, methodologies, texts, templates and other outputs are protected by relevant intellectual property rights.
Unless otherwise stated for specific material, the user obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the made available content for their own personal or internal professional needs during authorized access.
In particular, the following is not permitted without special consent:
- systematically copy or distribute the contents of the Library,
- provide protected files to third parties,
- sell or sublicense Pepax materials,
- Automated bulk download, scrape or create a parallel database of content.
Legal licenses and copyright exceptions are not affected.
14. Professional nature and limits of the result
Pepax provides professional work with appropriate professional care according to the agreed assignment. Analysis, recommendation, coaching, mentoring, or educational content do not constitute a guarantee of a specific business, financial, career, or personal result.
The client remains responsible for their own decisions and for assessing whether a particular recommendation is appropriate for their situation. If the assignment requires regulated legal, tax, medical or other specifically licensed services, Pepax does not provide them as a substitute for the relevant authorized professional, unless expressly agreed otherwise and the provider is not authorized to do so.
15. Availability of the digital service
Pepax takes appropriate measures to ensure the availability and security of the Library. Short-term unavailability may occur, in particular, during maintenance, updates, security interventions or third-party failures.
If a defect in the digital performance gives rise to legal rights for the consumer, Pepax will handle them in accordance with the Civil Code and relevant legal regulations.
16. Complaints and liability for defects
Complaints can be made in the manner specified in Complaints Procedure. Consumer rights from liability for defects in the service, digital content or digital service are governed by law and cannot be excluded by these GTC.
Pepax will provide confirmation of receipt of a complaint or other relevant submission on a durable medium if required by law or the nature of the submission.
17. Alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes
If the consumer is not satisfied with the way Pepax has handled a complaint or other request for redress, he or she has the right to first ask Pepax for redress.
If Pepax responds negatively to the request for redress or does not respond to it within 30 days of its sending, the consumer may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to the relevant entity pursuant to Act No. 391/2015 Coll.
For general consumer disputes, the competent body is in particular:
Slovak Trade Inspection
Inspectorate of the SOI for the Nitra Region
Staničná 9, P.O. BOX 49A
950 50 Nitra 1
The consumer may also choose another competent alternative dispute resolution entity, if permitted by law.
The European ODR/RSO platform is not mentioned in these GTC because its activities have been terminated and the relevant European regulation has been repealed with effect from 20 July 2025.
18. Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data is described on the page Personal data protection.
The use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the current Cookie Policy (EU) created and maintained according to the actual technical status of the website.
19. Communication
Unless these GTC or an individual agreement provides otherwise, contractual communication may take place by email, via the Account or other agreed means that allows the content of the communication to be preserved.
The client is obliged to keep the contact email up to date.
20. Changes to the GTC
Pepax may change the GTC, mainly due to changes in legal regulations, portal functionality or business model.
The change will not be applied retroactively to the detriment of the consumer for a period already paid for or an order already concluded. If the change significantly affects the ongoing contractual relationship, Pepax will inform the user in advance on a durable medium, if required by law or the nature of the change.
21. Final provisions
Legal relations are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, while in relation to the consumer, all rights granted to him by mandatory legal regulations and, if applicable, the law of the state of his habitual residence, if applicable, remain preserved.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
